About Begin Anew
In 2018, Begin Anew partnered with WorldCrafts. With the creation of Begin Anew Refugee Artisan Group, refugees who have relocated to Nashville have the opportunity to attend classes to study English and receive a high school diploma while also learning how to screen print. These skills allow these refugees to provide sustainable incomes for themselves after they’ve had to flee their homes and everything that is familiar to them.
While these refugees are grateful to be given an opportunity to live in freedom, adjusting to a foreign place with an unfamiliar culture and language isn’t easy. Each time they meet, the refugees learn about the eternal hope offered by their Father to help ease their fears and bring them peace.
